Our Team in Dublin – Let’s Talk Business

Having worked for many clients worldwide, we certainly know the importance of constant growth as a company. Getting out there and presenting what we do is essential. Especially with extraordinary opportunities to share our story with a variety of successful people; like this one.

Thanks to our mobile solutions and the services we offer, Zesium was invited to an event hosted by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. The event overall was a perfect opportunity to promote the importance of interregional economic integration.

On October 6th and 7th, there were more than 150 “b2b meetings” among companies, during which we negotiated with potential partners, regarding offering support with consulting to their companies. Our CEO, Darko Milic, and Business Development Executive, Jovan Stojanovic, used this great opportunity to meet with many potential partners that work on global market, though the main focus was the Irish market, which is very well connected with United States and London. Ireland has quite a good business going on; all the big companies have a branch there, mostly because of the engineering quality but also because “liberal tax” approach – Double Irish. It is actually a tax strategy that some multinational corporations use to lower their corporate tax liability. It is mostly known as “Double Irish with a Dutch Sandwich”, a tax strategy involving a combination of Irish and Dutch companies to shift profits to low or no tax jurisdictions (for instance, Apple, Google, Facebook and many others used to, or still practice this strategy).

Our representatives also had the honor to be the guests of the Guinness Enterprise Centre (GEC) – the biggest tech center in Ireland. More than 200 companies per year can be a part of their program. With more than 1000 employees in companies that they mentor, they’ve got 90 million euros raised in investments, where those companies represent 30 different industries. A quite interesting fact is that 92% of GEC’s companies outsource software or other services to countries out of Ireland.

The quality service we offer has certainly been recognized by many. We all agreed that there is a great opportunity vice versa; at this moment, we’re jointly working on the presentation of Serbian startup and technology ecosystem to them.
