What will you be doing?

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring applications run efficiently and reliably. You’ll work closely with development teams to streamline processes and implement automation solutions that enhance delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools and practices

  • Manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform

  • Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability of our services

  • Implement and manage observability solutions using Datadog to monitor system health and performance

  • Develop automation scripts and tools to improve developer productivity and system reliability

  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize containerization strategies and deployment workflows

  • Implement security best practices across our infrastructure and deployment processes

Requirements and Technical Competencies:

  • Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture patterns

  • Experience with bare-metal setups

  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform

  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline design

  • Proficiency in Python, Bash or similar scripting languages

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, or similar)

  • Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization principles

  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git

  • Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD or Flux

  • Experience with Github Actions

  • Experience with Doppler or similar secret management tool

  • Experience with cloud cost optimization

Soft skills:

  • Strong communication and English skills: speaking + writing

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a systematic approach to troubleshooting

  • Personal accountability

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments
